meeting tuesday 27th March 2012 You Gov

At our March meeting, in Chelsworth, we plan to discuss the results of the Cambridge YouGov survey of religious beliefs and practices. In February The Revd Canon Simon Brown spoke to us about the Friends of the Church in China and his work there. It was fascinating indeed and encouraging to hear of the church flourishing. We continue to attend Mike King's series of talks on the development of the Secular Mind. Getting more and more interesting and challenging. The last one is on 18th April. In May we plan to discuss Alain de Botton's latest book "Religion for Atheists" We are also planning a meeting devoted to music. Some of us have been going to the Lent talks at St Mary le Tower Church in Ipswich on "The Arts, Imagination and God"
